Bio-Medical Signal and Image Processing Lab. Welcome to the Bio-Medical Signal and Image Processing Lab developed at IIT Roorkee. The interactive experiments in this lab will give the students an opportunity for learning and better understanding of Bio-Medical Signal Processing and basics of the techniques used in Bio-Medcical Image Processing. This experiment demonstrates the idea that one can attain a perfect solution in the limit by suucessively computing approximations to the exact value. The intent behind this experiment is to make use of ideas laerned in the previous experiments. This is intended to introduce the student to numerical methods. 1 To understand that for some problems an approximate numerial solution is as good as the exact solution for practical purposes.

Computer science is all about providing abstractions. In this lab, the first two experiments deal with the two primitive data abstractions, integers and floating point numbers. We look at various approaches for representing integers. Numbers in binary and, their pros and cons. The next four experiments involve writing assembly language programs.
